No. S. 21. It is hereby notified that a meeting of the Licensing Board will be held in the Council Chamber at 2.15 p.m., on Wednesday, the 7th day of February, 1912, for the purpose of considering the following application under the Liquor Licences Ordinance, 1911, vis. :—

From one HARRY HAYNES for the transfer to him from one J. N. MEHTA of the Publican's Licence to sell by retail intoxicating liquors on premises Nos. 3 and 5 Des Vaux Road Central, under the sign of "The King Edward Hotel ".

No. S. 22. With reference to Governinent Notification No. S. 370 of 8th December, 1911, it is hereby notified that the portion of Wongneichong Road therein referred to is now re-opened to public traffic.

No. S. 23. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders which should be clearly marked "Tender for Road Improvement, Taipingshan" will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 29th January, 1912, for improving Bridges Street and Tank Lane, Taipingshan.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.

For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. S. 24.-It is hereby notified that scaled tenders which should be clearly marked Tender for filling in swamps at Shaukiwan" will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 29th February, 1912, for filling in swamps at Shaukiwan.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.

No. S. 25. It is hereby notified that the following Sale of Crown Land by Public Auction, will be held at the Offices of the Public Works Department, on Monday, the 5th day of February, 1912, at & p.m.
