NOTICE OF FIRING PRACTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DEFENCES (FIRING AREAS) ORDINANCE, 1936.
Firing practice will be carried out from Mount Davis from 0330 hours to 1400 hours daily on 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th January, 1938.
Alternative date -7th January, 1933, from 0830 hours to 1100 hours.
Firing Area "D" will be affected.
Firing practice will be carried out from D'Aguilar on 11th January, 1938, from 0900 hours to 1400 hours.
Alternative date-17th January, 1938, from 0900 hours to 1400 hours.
Firing Area "B" will be affected.
In accordance with sub-section 4 of section 4 of the Defences (Firing Areas) Ordinance, 1936, masters of vessels and pilots of aircraft exempt from the operation of this Ordinance under section 10, are warned to assist in the carrying out of the firing practice by hastening through the Firing Area affected, or by consenting to be towed out of the Firing Area, if necessary, by any vessel acting under the orders of the Military Authorities.

No. S. 400.-Notice is hereby given under section 5 of the Public Reclamations Validation and Clauses Ordinance, 1936, that it is proposed to construct the following undertakings:-
1. A pier (approximately 70 feet long and 32 feet wide) at North Point project- ing into the Harbour from reclaimed Crown Land in the Area Reserved for Central Stores in front of the premises occupied by the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club and between the premises of the Hong Kong Electric Company Limited, and the premises of the Asiatic Petroleum Company, Limited, and shown and delineated in red upon a plan marked B signed by the Director of Public Works and dated the 19th August, 1937, and deposited in the Land Office.
2. Two additional Cross-Harbour Pipe Lines in the Harbour from opposite Nathan Road to Queens Pier situated slightly to the westward of the existing Cross-Harbour Pipe Lines in the Cable Reserve and shown and delineated in red upon a plan marked Plan A Cross-Harbour Pipes signed by the Director of Public Works and dated the 19th August, 1937, and deposited in the Land Office.
Any person having any objection to or any claim of private right in respect of the proposed undertakings must send his objection or claim in writing to the Director of Public Works before the expiration of two months from the 12th day of November, 1937.
Such objection or claim must state the reasons therefor and specify the property with regard to the ownership or occupation of which such objection or claim is made and the interest therein of the objector or claimant.
