No. S. 449.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Repairs to Island Breakwater, Causeway Bay", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Thursday, the 6th day of January, 1938. The work comprises the resetting of the pitching on the Outer face of the Breakwater displaced by the Typhoon of September, 1937.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $200 with the Colonial Treasury.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
