Meeting of the members and creditors of the above-named Company will be held at its re- gistered office, No. 24, Fleming Road, Victoria, Hong Kong, on Tuesday, the 18th day of January 1938, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account of the Liquidator, showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the pro- perty of the Company disposed of, laid before such meeting, receiving the Official Receiver's Report (if any) and of hearing any explana- tion thereof that may be given by the Liquida- tor, and also of determining by Extraordinary Resolution the manner in which the Books, Accounts and Documents of the Company and of the Liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

OTICE is hereby given that the Order of
the Supreme Court of Hong Kong in its Original Jurisdiction dated the 13th day of December 1937 confirming the cancellation of 15,633 shares of $5.00 each of the authoris ed capital of the Company unissued and the Reduction of Capital from $4,421,835,00 to $2,210,917.50 and the Minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the Capital of the Company as altered the several particulars required by the above mentioned Statute was rogistered by the Registrar of Companies on the 13th day of December, 1937. The said Minute is in the words and figures following:
"That the Capital of the China Provid-
ent Loan and Mortgage Company Limited henceforth is $2,210,917,50 divided into 589,578 shares of $2.50 each fully paid and 294,789 shares of $2.50 each upon which 75 cents shall be deemed to have been paid upon each of the said shares".

OTICE is hereby given that at a Meeting of the Board of Directors of the China Provident Loan and Mortgage Company Limited held at York Building, 1st floor, on the 15th December 1937, a Resolution was passed making a Call of $1.75 per share upon all Members holding shares upon which only 75 cents per share has been paid as shown on the Register of Shareholders ou the 15th December, 1937. Such Call shall be payable at the Company's Bankers, the Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation, Queen's Road Central, Victoria, Hong Kong, on or before the 31st March, 1938.

OTICE is hereby given that by a Writ of
Summons issued in an action intituled "In the Supreme Court of Hong Kong, Sum- mary Jurisdiction, Action No. 984 of 1937, Between Wong Tong Kee, plaintiffs and Luen Woo Wah Kee and Jacop Lam, defendants dated the 13th day of August, 1937, the Plaintiffs, Wong Tong Kee of No. 32, Canton Road, Tsimshatsui, in the Dependency of Kow- loon and Colony of Hong Kong, claim against the Defendants, Luen Woo Wah Kee and Jacop Lam for the sum of $296.57 being balance due by the Defendants to the Plaintiffs for the price of goods sold and delivered, full particluars whereof have already been delivered to the Defendants by the Plantiffs. AND NOTICE is further given that pursuant to Chapter XVII of the Code of Civil Procedure, Section 453, a Writ of Foreign Attachment was, on the 9th day of December, 1937, issued by the Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court commanding the Bailiff of the Supreme Court to forthwith attach all the property, movable and immov- able, of the abovenamed Defendants, Luen Woo Wah Kec and Jacop Lam, which shall be found within the Colony and to return the said Writ into the said Court on the 24th day of Decem- ber, 1937.
