No. S. 427.- With reference to Gazette Notification No. S. 398 dated 9th November, 1937, it is hereby notified that the date for receipt of tenders for Class No. 79, Oils, only, has been extended until noon of Thursday, the 9th day of December, 1937.

No. S. 428.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Reconstruction of Hung Hom Ferry Pier", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 17th day of December, 1937. The work comprises taking down portion of the existing wooden pier and roof and reconstructing in reinforced concrete together with any other contigent works.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $350 with the Colonial Treasury.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
