NOTICE OF FIRING PRACTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
DEFENCES (FIRING AREAS) ORDINANCE, 1936.
Firing practice will be carried out from D'Aguilar daily from 15th to 19th November, 1937, and 22nd and 23rd November, 1937, commencing at 0930 hours each day.
Firing Area "B" will be affected.
Firing practice will be carried out from D'Aguilar on the night 16th/17th Novem- ber, 1937, commencing at 1845 hours on 16th November. Alternative night 17th/18th November, 1937, commencing at 1845 hours.
Firing Area "B" will be affected.
In accordance with sub-section 4 of section 4 of the Defences (Firing Areas) Ordinance, 1936, masters of vessels and pilots of aircraft exempt from the operation of this Ordinance under section 10 are warned to assist in the carrying out of the firing practice by hastening through the Firing Area affected, or by consenting to be towed out of the Firing Area, if necessary, by any vessel acting under the orders of the Military Authorities.

No. S. 373.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Materials for Harbour Pipelines", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 15th day of November, 1937. The work consists of the supply of materials for two 21" diameter submerged pipelines across Hong Kong Harbour.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, with the Colonial Treasurer, the sum of $15,000 in cash.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
