An Ordinance to authorise the construction of a Pier project- ing from reclaimed Crown Land at North Point and two new Cross-Harbour Pipe Lines.

WHEREAS it is provided by section 4 of the Public Ordinance Reclamations Validation and Clauses Ordinance, 1936, that in 1936. any future Ordinance authorising any undertaking for re- clamation or other works of a public nature over and upon unleased Crown foreshore and sea bed, provisionally and subject to the definitive approval of the Governor in Council, the provisions of Part II of that Ordinance shall be deemed to be incorporated unless expressly varied or excepted by such Ordinance :
AND WHEREAS it is considered desirable to authorise provisionally and subject to such approval certain of such undertakings:-
BE it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Stores Pier (North Short title. Point) and Additional Pipe Lines Ordinance, 1937.

A pier (approximately 70 feet long and 32 feet wide) at North Point projecting into the Harbour from reclaimed Crown Land in the Area Reserved for Central Stores in front of the premises occupied by the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club and between the premises of the Hong Kong Electric Company Limited and the premises of the Asiatic Petroleum Company Limited and shown and delineated in red upon a plan marked B signed by the Director of Public Works and dated the 19th August, 1937, and deposited in the Land Office..
2. Two additional Cross-Harbour Pipe Lines in the Harbour from opposite Nathan Road to Queens Pier situated slightly to the west- ward of the existing Cross-Harbour Pipe Lines in the Cable Reserve and shown and delineated in red upon a plan marked Plan A Cross Harbour Pipes signed by the Director of Public Works and dated the 19th August, 1937, and deposited in the Land Office.
