The successful tenderer will be required to sign an agreement and to give security to the satisfaction of the Government in the sum of $500.

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.

No. S. 297.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Garages and Car Shelter at Queen Mary Hospital", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 20th day of September, 1937. The work consists of the erection of garages and a car shelter.

As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $1,000 with the Colonial Treasury, which sum will be retained for a period of six months from the date of completion of the works in lieu of the usual retention money.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
