The Lots are sold for the term of Seventy-five years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years less the last 3 days at a re-assessed Crown Rent as Garden Lots, subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification No. 364 of 1934, and to Special Condition No. 1 (a) and (b), and Special Condition hereunder specified.

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.
No. 8. 263.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Shing Mun Catchwaters, 1st Section ", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 13th day of September, 1937. The work consists of the Construction of a Catchwater, draining the Southern Slopes of Tai Mo Shan near Pineapple Pass, and Contingent Works.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $10,000 with the Colonial Treasury.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
