No. S. 165.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Car Shelters and Latrine at the New Gaol, Stanley will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 12th day of July, 1937. The work consists of the erection of two Car Shelters in reinforced con- crete to accommodate a total of 40 cars, and a small Latrine.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, the sum of $1,000 with the Colonial Treasurer which sum will be retained for a period of six months from the date of completion of the works in lieu of the usual retention money.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. S. 166.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should he clearly marked "Tender for Flush Latrine at Shaukiwan East", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 12th day of July, 1937. The work consists of the erection of a New Public Latrine and Coolie Quarters in Brickwork and concrete.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, the sum of $550 with the Colonial Treasurer which sum will be retained for a period of six months from the date of com- pletion of the works in lieu of the usual retention money.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
