No. S. 28.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate which should be clearly marked "Tender for the Supply of Extension Escape Ladder for No. 10 Fire Appliance", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 15th day of February, 1937.

HARBOUR DEPARTMENT.
No. S. 29. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in quintuplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for repairs to M.L. 'H.D. 8'", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 15th day of February, 1937.
A list of work may be obtained at the Assistant Government Marine Surveyor's Office, Government Slipway, Yaumati.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
The work to be carried out to the satisfaction of the Government Marine Surveyor, and to be duly completed within the number of working days specified by the tender to commence from the date of handing over of the launch to tenderers for repair; failing completion within such time deduction will be made from the contract price, by way of liquidated damages for delay, at the rate of $30 for each and every subsequent day until and including the date of due completion of the work.

PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.
No. S. 30.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Piling to wholesale market, Kennedy Town", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 15th day of February, 1937. The work consists of driving concrete piles for foundations.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $1,000 with the Colonial Treasury.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
