6. This Ordinance shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1938, and shall continue in force until the 31st day of December, 1938, and no longer, unless otherwise provided by Ordinance.

Repeal of Ordinance No. 2 of 1937.

7. The Hong Kong Government Service (Levy on Salaries) Ordinance, 1937, is repealed.
