13. Irish Province of the Order of Franciscans Minor Incorporation Bill.-The Hon. Mr. LEO D'ALMADA E CASTRO, Junior, addressed the Council and moved the First reading of a Bill intituled "An Ordinance to provide for the incorpora- tion of the Procurator in Hong Kong of the Irish Province of the Order of Franciscans Minor."

The Hon. Mr. Lo MAN-KAM seconded.

Question-put and agreed to.

Bill read a first time.

ADJOURNMENT.

14. The Council then adjourned until Wednesday, the 22nd day of December, 1937,

at 2.30 p.m.

No. 926. His Excellency the Governor has given his assent, in the name and on behalf of His Majesty the KING, to the following Ordinances passed by the Legislative Council:

Ordinance No. 24 of 1937.-An Ordinance to fix the rate at which the sterling salaries of public officers shall be paid in this Colony.

Ordinance No. 25 of 1937.-An Ordinance to provide for changes in the style

of public officers, offices and departments.

Ordinance No. 26 of 1937.-An Ordinance to amend the Interpretation Ordin-

ance, 1911.

Ordinance No. 27 of 1937.-An Ordinance for promoting the revision of the

Ordinances of Hong Kong.

Ordinance No. 28 of 1937.—An Ordinance to provide for the incorporation of the Procurator in Hong Kong of the Irish Pro- vince of the Order of Franciscans Minor.
