The rainfall for the month of October at Victoria Peak was lin. 15 on 8 days, at Mount Kellett, it was lin. 35 on 4 days, at Botanical Gardens, lin. 16 on 5 days, at Taipo, 2ins. 83 on 6 days, and at Fanling, 2ins. 42 on 5 days.

The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 553 at 21h. 05m. on the 4th. The maximum gust velocity as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 66 miles per hour at 19h. 20m. on the 4th.
