An Ordinance to authorise the construction of a Pier project- ing from reclaimed Crown Land at North Point and two new Cross-Harbour Pipe Lines.

[1st October, 1937.]

WHEREAS it is provided by section 4 of the Public Reclamations Validation and Clauses Ordinance, 1936, that in any future Ordinance authorising any undertaking for re- clamation or other works of a public nature over and upon unleased Crown foreshore and sea bed, provisionally and subject to the definitive approval of the Governor in Council, the provisions of Part II of that Ordinance shall be deemed to be incorporated unless expressly varied or excepted by such Ordinance :

AND WHEREAS it is considered desirable to authorise provisionally and subject to such approval certain of such undertakings:

BE it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Stores Pier (North Point) and Additional Pipe Lines Ordinance, 1937.

2. The Director of Public Works is authorised, provision- ally and subject to the definitive approval of the Governor in Council, to construct the undertakings set out in the Schedule.
