ORDINANCE No. 16 of 1935. (PUBLIC HEALTH [ANIMALS AND BIRDS] ).
WHEREAS I, NORMAN LOCKHART SMITH, Esquire, Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Officer Administering the Government of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies, deem it expedient so to order, NOW I, by this ORDER under my hand, by virtue of the power in that behalf vested in me by section 5 of the Public Health (Animals and Birds) Ordinance, 1935, and all other powers thereto me enabling, DO HEREBY PROHIBIT THE IMPORTATION EITHER BY LAND OR BY SEA OR THE TRANSHIPMENT in the Colony of equines from Macao and Canton, except under and in accordance with a permit in that behalf previously obtained and issued by the Colonial Veterinary Surgeon.

This transfer is subject to the provisions contained in the said Ordinance as to refunds.
