ORDINANCE No. 28 of 1917. (FERRIES).

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Ferries Ordinance, 1917, the Governor in Council further amends the Ferries Regulations made under the said Ordinance and set forth in Government Notification No. 695 of 1930, amended as appears in Government Notification No. 296 published in the Gazette of the 5th May, 1933, as follows:-

Amendment.

Regulation 35 is rescinded and the following regulation is substituted therefor:

35. No person shall use or attempt to use any monthly or season ticket unless it has been issued to him in his own name and unless his own name and signature appear on the face thereof and no holder of a monthly or season ticket shall sell or transfer or attempt to sell or transfer the same to any person.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Ferries Ordinance, 1917, the Governor in Council amends the regulations made under the above mentioned Ordinance and published as Government Notification No. 695 in the Gazette of the 21st November, 1930 (as amended by Government Notifications Nos. 472 of 1932 and 296 of 1933) as follows:-

Amendment.

In the proviso to regulation No. 4 the words "six years" are substituted for the words "twelve months".
