The rainfall for the month of March at Victoria Peak was 3ins. 19 on 27 days, at Mount Kellett, it was 3ins. 27 on 14 days, at Botanical Gardens, 2ins. 97 on 16 days, at Taipo, 2ins. 59 on 17 days, and at Fanling, 2ins. 09 on 14 days.

The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 728 at 17h. 00m, on the 10th. The maximum gust velocity of the wind, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 51 miles per hour at 4. 05m. on the 5th.
