ORDINANCE No. 13 of 1935. (PUBLIC HEALTH [FOOD]).

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Public Health (Food) Ordinance, 1935, the Urban Council makes the following amendment of the by-laws under the heading "FOOD SHOPS" set forth in the Schedule to the above-mentioned Ordinance :

Amendment.

By-laws 1 and 2 are rescinded and the following by-laws are substituted therefor :-

1. In these by-laws "Public Market' means a market which has been declared a market by any Public Authority or which may hereafter be declared a market by the Council.

1A. Except in a public market or under and in accord- ance with a licence granted by the Council, no person shall sell or expose for sale any articles of food for man usually sold or exposed for sale in a public market within the following places, namely, the Island of Hong Kong, the Harbour, Kowloon and New Kowloon.

2. The following fees shall be charged and paid for licences to sell in premises outside a public market the undermentioned articles of food commonly sold in such market :---

Provided that a fee of $3 per quarter only shall be charged and paid for any like licence to sell in premises situated in the following places, namely, Pokfulam, Aberdeen, Aplichau, Stanley, Tytam, Shek O.
