No. 7.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. JOHN ALEXANDER FRASER, M.C., to act as First Police Magistrate, in addition to his other duties, with effect from the 7th January, 1937.

No. 8.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. MYLES JOHN ABBOTT to act as Crown Solicitor, with effect from the 18th January, 1937.

No. 9. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to make, under regulation 9 of the Regulations of the Hong Kong Naval Volunteer Force, the following promotions in the Hong Kong Naval Volunteer Force :

To be Commander, with effect from 8th January, 1937. Lieutenant-Commander JAMES PETRIE, D.S.C.

To be Lieutenants, with effect from 2nd December, 1936.

To be removed from List II, having left the Colony, with effect from 2nd Decem-

ber, 1936.
