Ordinance No. 35 of 1936.-An Ordinance to amend further the Summary
Offences Ordinance, 1932.
Ordinance No. 37 of 1936.--An Ordinance to amend the Public Health (Sanita-
tion) Ordinance, 1935.
Ordinance No. 38 of 1936.—An Ordinance to amend the Public Health (Animals
and Birds) Ordinance, 1935.
Ordinance No. 39 of 1936.-An Ordinance to amend the Public Health (Food) Ordinance, 1935.
Ordinance No. 40 of 1936.--Au Ordinance to validate certain undertakings which have been constructed or commenced over and upon unleased Crown foreshores and sea bed; and to enact certain general provisions which shall be deemed incorporated, unless expressly varied or excepted, in future Ordinances author- ising reclamation or other works of a public nature over and upon such foreshores and sea bed.
Ordinance No. 41 of 1936.-An Ordinance to provide for the incorporation of the Superioress in Hong Kong of the Congrega- tion of the Sisters of the Precious Blood.

No. 5.-It is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor, under instruc- tions received from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, has been pleased to make the following appointments:-
Mr. ROLAND ARTHUR CHARLES NORTH to be Secretary for Chinese Affairs, with
effect from 20th October, 1936.
Messrs. WILLIAM JAMES CARRIE and ROBERT ANDREW DERMOD FORREST to be Cadet Officers Class I, with effect from 27th September, 1936 and 20th October, 1936, respectively.
8th January, 1937.
No. 6.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. DAVID KELVIN-STARK to be Deputy Estate Duty Commissioner and Assistant Treasurer, with effect from 7th January, 1937.
