Coronation Souvenirs Bill.-The Attorney General addressed the Council and moved the Second reading of a Bill intituled "An Ordinance to prohibit the sale, exposing for sale and the possession for sale, before the 1st June, 1937, of Coronation Souvenirs without a clear indication of their origin."

The Colonial Secretary seconded.

On Council resuming, the Attorney General reported that the Bill had passed through Committee without amendment, and moved that it be read a third time.

16. The Council then adjourned until Wednesday, the 6th day of January, 1937,

No. 3.- His Excellency the Governor has given his assent, in the name and on behalf of His Majesty the KING, to the following Ordinances passed by the Legislative Council :-

Ordinance No. 1 of 1937.-An Ordinance to amend the Telecommunication

Ordinance, 1936.

Ordinance No. 2 of 1937.-An Ordinance to make provision for a temporary

percentage levy on the salaries of public officers in the Hong Kong Government Service and to provide for the exchange rate at which sterling salaries, when paid in the Colony, are to be converted.
