No. S. 383.--It is hereby notified that sealed tenders which should be clearly marked "Tender for erecting rails, etc., in Royal Square" will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Wednesday, the 3rd January, 1912, for erecting granito piers and iron railings in Royal Square, Hongkong.
No work will be permitted on Sundays,

HIYORIYAMA LIGHTHOUSE TO BE ALTERED IN LIGHT AND TO BE FITTED UP WITH A FOG-SIREN.
NOTICE is hereby given that Hiyoriyama Lighthouse on Takashima-misaki outside Otaru Harbour, Hokkaido, will be permanently altered in light on December 15th, 1911, as follows:-
Character of light :-Acetylene gas group flashing white light, showing 3 flashes in succession during 3 seconds separated by an eclipse of 5 seconds.
Candle power : Distance visible
-1,000.
-19 nautical miles in clear weather.
