PRISON DEPARTMENT.
No. S. 299.-It is hereby notified, that separate tenders in triplicate, which should be sealed and clearly marked "Tender for the supply of Rations to Indian Prison Staff" for the supply and delivery of the articles therein mentioned as required to the Prison Department, Victoria Gaol, the Laichikok Branch Prison and the Hong Kong Prison at Stanley, from the 1st January, 1937 to the 31st December, 1937 inclusive, will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 30th October, 1936.
No tender will be considered unless the person tendering produces a receipt to the effect that he has deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $100 as a pledge of the bona fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if such person refuses to carry out his tender.

For forms of tender and any other information apply at the Prison Department Office, Victoria Gaol. Tenderers who so desire may subunit alternative tenders for vary- ing rates of exchange.
The successful tenderer will be required to sign an agreement and to give security to the satisfaction of the Government in the sum of $500.
