2. The Minutes of the Meeting held on the 24th November, 1936, were confirmed.

OATHS.

3. The Honourable the Colonial Secretary, (Mr. NORMAN LOCKHART SMITH) and the Honourable the Secretary for Chinese Affairs, (Mr. ROLAND ARTHUR CHARLES NORTH) took the Oath of Allegiance and assumed their seats as Members of the Council.
