ORDINANCE No. 10 of 1899. (MERCHANT SHIPPING).
in exercise of the powers conferred by section 25 (4) of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, 1899, the Governor in Council hereby further amends Table M. in the Schedule to the said Ordinance by inserting the following regulation in the group of regulations under the heading "(V)- Telegraph cables and other protected apparatus":-
20c. (1) A cable ground is established in the vicinity of Slope Island and Lam Tong Island within the following boundaries:-
South western boundary-a line drawn in a direction 140° from the western end of Slope Island to Lam Tong Island.
North eastern boundary-a line drawn parallel to the south western boundary and 900 yards to the north eastward of it.
(2) No ship, junk or vessel of any description shall anchor within the boundaries of the said cable ground and fishing is prohibited within the same.
