The rainfall for the month of October at Victoria Peak was lin. 23 on 5 days, at Mount Kellett, it was 0.91 on 3 days, at Botanical Gardens, 1. 00 on 3 days, at Taipo, 2ins. 17 on 4 days, and at Fanling, Oin. 76 on 3 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 746 at 15h. 30m. on the 11th. The maximum gust velocity as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 47 miles per hour at 01. 00m. on the 12th.
