ORDINANCE No. 10 of 1899.
(MERCHANT SHIPPING)
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 (6) and section 13 (1) of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, 1899, as amended by the Merchant Shipping Amendment Ordinance, 1935, and of all other powers thereunto enabling, the Governor in Council amends the Merchant Shipping (Life-Saving Appliances) Regulations, 1935, published in the Gazette of the 15th May, 1936, as Government Notification No. 436 as follows:-
Amendments.
1. The heading "TABLE A" is prefixed to the said regulations.
2. Regulation 100 is amended by the addition of the following words at the end thereof :—
"and these regulations are substituted therefor as Table A in the Schedule to the said Merchant Shipping Ordinance, 1899 "

ORDINANCE No. 7 of 1926. (POST OFFICE).
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Post Office Ordinance, 1926, the Governor in Council rescinds the addition to regulation 30 made under the said Ordinance and published as Government Notification No. 106 in the Gazette of the 31st January, 1936, and substitutes the follow- ing addition therefor, with effect from the 5th November, 1936-
"Letters will be accepted at Hong Kong for transmission by the Chinese Air Mail Service to destinations in China at the rate of $0.35 per half ounce unit. The charge is inclusive of the regular postage."
