ORDINANCE No. 22 of 1910. (MIDWIVES).

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Midwives Ordinance, 1910, the Governor in Council amends the regulations published by Government Notification No. 653 in the Gazette of the 24th October, 1930, as follows:-

Amendment.

Regulation 2 is amended by the insertion of the following paragraph immediately before the proviso at the end thereof.

F. that she possess a certificate of competency satisfactory to the Board, and has practised as a wan p'o in the Colony for at least two years immediately preceding the date of her application to be certified, and that such application is made before the first day of January, 1937.

APPOINTMENTS, &c.

No. 864. It is hereby notified that Mr. THOMAS STODART WHYTE-SMITH resumed duty as Land Officer on the 28th October, 1936.

No. 865. It is hereby notified that Mr. MYLES JOHN ABBOTT relinquished duty as Assistant Land Officer on the 28th October, 1936, and as Deputy Registrar of Marriages on the 29th October, 1936.

No. 866.-It is hereby notified that during the absence from the Colony of Herr H. GIPPERICH, Consul-General for Germany at Hong Kong, Mr. A. GELEWSKY will, until further notice, be in charge of the Consulate-General for Germany.

No. 867. His Majesty the KING has been pleased to approve the appointment of the Honourable Mr. ROBERT HORMUS KOTEWALL, C.M.G., LL.D., to be an Unofficial Member of the Executive Council for a period of five years, with effect from 9th July, 1936.
