NOTICE TO WIRELESS OPERATORS.

No. 857.-In conformity with international requirements, the Hong Kong Govern- ment Second Class (Restricted) Certificate of Proficiency in Radiotelegraphy has been modified in the Telecommunication Ordinance of 1936 and is now known as the Second Class (Far East Zone) Certificate.

All Second Class (Restricted) Certificates which have been issued will be cancelled and holders of these must therefore apply as early as possible to the Wireless Licensing Office, 1st floor, G.P.O., when their present Certificates will be exchanged for the new

ones.

No charge will be made, and no examination will be required for this exchange.

Applicants must supply fresh duplicate photographs of passport type, 3 inches by 2 inches, plain black and white surface, on thin paper (not card) suitable for mounting.

Application in the first place, accompanied by the photographs, may be made by

post.
