The rainfall for the month of September at Victoria Peak was 12ins. 60 on 14 days, at Mount Kellett, it was 10ins. 24 on 10 days, at Botanical Gardens, 13ias. 24 on 8 days, at Taipo, 22ins. 33 on 7 days, and at Fanling, 24ins. 03 on 6 days.

The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 512 at 16h. 24m. on the 5th. The maximum gust velocity as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 47 miles per hour at 14h. 00m. on the 5th.
