No. 633.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased, under section 9 of the regulations of the Hong Kong Naval Volunteer Force, to appoint JOHN BEVERIDGE MACKIE, Esquire, to be a Surgeon Lieutenant in the Hong Kong Naval Volunteer Force, with effect from 6th July, 1936.

No. 634.-Lieutenant-Colonel HUGH BLACKWELL LAYARD DOWBIGGIN, O.B.E., relinquishes the appointment of Commandant, Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, with effect from 1st August, 1936, and is granted the honorary rank of Lieutenant- Colonel of the Corps.

No. 635.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appove the appoint- ment of Captain ROBERT CHARLES BECKETT ANDERSON, M.C., The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, to act as Commandant of the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, with local rank of Lieutenant-Colonel, with effect from 1st August, 1936.
