The rainfall for the month of June at the Botanical Gardens was 5ins. •72 on 18 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 7ins. 00 on 22 days, at Fanling, 6ins. 04 on 15 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, 7ins. 08 on 13 days.

The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 578 at 16h.. 00m. on the Sth. The maximum squall velocity as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 41 miles per hour at 18h. 10m. on the 29th.
