The following list showing the Countries which have either ratified or acceded to the Safety Convention is published for general information. This list supersedes the list published by Government Notification No. 769 in the Govern- ment Gazette of the 4th October, 1935.

In forwarding the instrument of ratification for deposit His Majesty's Government in the Commonwealth of Australia stated that it is not desired that the Convention shall apply for the present to the territories of Papua and Norfolk Island or to the mandated territories of New Guinea and Nauru.
