COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT,

The following list showing the countries which have ratified or acceded to the Load Line Convention is published for general information. This list supersedes the list published by Government Notification No. 975 in the Gazette of the 13th December, 1935. In forwarding the instrument of ratification for deposit the Commonwealth Government stated that it is not desired that the Convention shall apply for the present to the territories of Papua and Norfolk Island or to the mandated territories of New Guinea and Nauru.
