The rainfall for the month of April at the Botanical Gardens was 5ins. 09 on 8 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 4ins. 52 on 7 days, at Fanling, 3ins. 16 on 10 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, 4ins. 39 on 10 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. ·763 at 17h. 00m on the 24th. The maximum gust velocity of the wind, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 42 miles per hour at 00h. 40m. on the 26th.
