ORDINANCE No. 8 of 1920. (SOCIETIES).

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Societies Ordinance, 1920, the Governor in Council declares the KIU KONG LEI FAT TUNG YIP Wu (*) to be an unlawful society.

No. 418.-His Majesty the KING has not been advised to exercise his power of disallowance with respect to the following Ordinances :-

Ordinance No. 3 of 1936. -An Ordinance to amend further the Pensions

Ordinance, 1932.

Ordinance No. 5 of 1936. An Ordinance to amend the Gambling Ordinance,

1891.

Ordinance No. 7 of 1936.-An Ordinance to amend and consolidate the law relating to Quarantine and the Prevention of Disease among human beings.

APPOINTMENTS, &c.

No. 419.- His Excellency the Governor has approved the relinquishment of his appointment as Deputy Superintendent and Adjutant of the Police (Reserve) by Mr. DUDLEY LEONARD KING, with effect from April 30th, 1936, prior to his leaving the Colony.

6th May, 1936.

No. 420.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. CYRIL CHAMPKIN to be Deputy Superintendent of the Police (Reserve).

6th May, 1936.

No. 421.- His Excellency the Governor, under instructions from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, has been pleased to recognise Mr. IIISAKICHI OKAMOTO as Vice- Consul of Japan at Hong Kong.
