A BILL

An Ordinance to amend the Sale of Food and

Drugs Ordinance, 1896.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-

Objects and Reasons.

This Bill introduces two important provisions of the Imperial Sale of Foods and Drugs Act 1899, the intro- duction of which has been strongly urged by the Government medical advisers,
