ORDINANCE No. 6 of 1928. (WATCHMEN).

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Watchmen Ordinance, 1928, the Governor in Council further amends the regulations published in Government Notification No. 192 in the Gazette of the 13th April, 1928, as follows:-

Amendment.

In regulation 3 (c) the words "within seven days after” are substituted for the words "immediately upon".

APPOINTMENTS, &c.

No. 349.-His Excellency the Governor has approved the relinquishment of his Local Commission as Lieutenant in the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps by Lieutenant HORACE JOHN CROOT, M.B., B.S., M.R.C.S., (England), L.R.C.P., (London), with effect from 30th March, 1936, on his leaving the Colony.

No. 350.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint provisionally, and subject to His Majesty's pleasure, the Honourable Mr. JOHN JOHNSTONE PATERSON to be an an Unofficial Member of the Executive Council, vice Sir WILLIAM EDWARD Leonard SHENTON, resigned, with effect from 6th April, 1936.

No. 351.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint provisionally, and subject to His Majesty's pleasure, Mr. STANLEY HUDSON DODWELL to be an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council, vice Sir WILLIAM EDWARD LEONARD SHENTON, resigned, with effect from 6th April, 1936.

No. 352.-It is hereby notified that Mr. JoOHN BERNARD PRENTIS relinquished duty as Assistant Crown Solicitor on the 9th April, 1936.
