The rainfall for the month of February at the Botanical Gardens was 3ins. 50 on 18 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 3ins. 76 on 16 days, at Fanling, 2ins. 32 on 11 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, 4ins. 04 on 19 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 711 at 18h. 00m. on the 25th. The maximum gust velocity of the wind, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 63 miles per hour at 16h. 11m. on the 25th.
