No. 256. It is hereby notified that Deratisation and Deratisation Exemption Cer- tificates, on the International Model, in accordance with Article 28 of the International Sanitary Convention, 1926, may be obtained in the Port of Victoria, Hong Kong.
The fees for Deratisation Certificates are in accordance with the scale of charges for Fumigation of ships published as G. N. No. 166 of 1st March, 1935 as amended by G. N. No. 542 of 12th July, 1935.
The scales of charges for Deratisation Exemption Certificates (issued when justified. by sanitary conditions disclosed by inspection of vessels) is as follows:-
Vessels not exceeding 2,500 tons and Oil Tanker vessels. Vessels exceeding 2,500 tons but not exceeding 5,000.. Vessels exceeding 5,000 tons but not exceeding 7,500... Vessels exceeding 7,500 tons but not exceeding 10,000 Vessels exceeding 10,000 tons

No. 258. On and after March 16th, 1936, the General Inference and Weather Forecast broadcast by Cape d'Aguilar (VPS) on 600 m. (500 k/c) and 36 m. (8333 k/c) at *0400 G.M.T. (noon Hong Kong Standard Time) and 1200 G.M.T. (8 p.m. H.K.S.T.) will be augmented by an Upper Air Inference and Forecast for District C (Hong Kong and neighbourhood) for the use of aviators.
Copies of Notification No. S. 269 of July 27th, 1934, (Notice to Mariners) should be amended accordingly.
