With reference to the annual list in two parts contain- ing the names of persons authorised by the Governor in Council to perform the duties required by the above men- tioned Ordinance to be performed by an auditor, published as Government Notification No. 565 in the Gazette of the 26th July, 1935, the following additions to part I of the said list is now published,

ORDINANCE No. 28 of 1917. (FERRIES).
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Ferries Ordinance, 1917, the exclusion from the operation of that Ordinance of the ferry of Po Kee between Tap Mun Village and Tai Po, referred to in Government Notification No. 443 of 1934, is rescinded, such ferry having been dis- continued.
In further exercise of the said powers the ferry named hereunder is excluded from the operation of the Ferries Ordinance, 1917, so long as-
(1) no exclusive and conflicting licence is granted under the said Ordinance; and
(2) only one vessel is employed in the service; and
(3) the vessel employed is approved by the District Officer, and is duly licensed; and
(4) the ferry adheres to a schedule approved by the District Officer; and
