ORDINANCE No. 4 of 1897. (PROTECTION OF WOMEN AND GIRLS).

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 47 of the Protection of Women and Girls Ordinance, 1897, the Governor in Council hereby further amends the regulations made under the said Ordinance and published on pages 178 and 179 of the Regulations of Hong Kong, 1844-1925, under the heading "Refuges" as follows:-

Amendment.

Regulation 2 is rescinded and the following regulation substituted therefor :-

2. The institutions known as the Italian Convent, the Eyre Refuge, the Victoria Home and Orphanage and the Salvation Army Home for Women and Girls shall also be held to be places of refuge under the Protection of Women and Girls Ordinance, 1897.

ORDINANCE No. 21 of 1932. (PENSIONS).

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 (1) of the Pensions Ordinance, 1932, as enacted by the Pensions Amendment Ordinance, 1934, and with the sanction of the Secretary of State, the Governor in Council further amends Pension Regulations A and Pension Regulations B, set forth respectively in Government Notifications Nos. 774 and 775, published in the Gazette of the Gazette of the 9th December, 1932, as follows:

Amendments.

In Pension Regulations A and in Pension Regulations B,- (1) The word "Malta" in the list of Governments in regulation 29 is deleted; and

(2) The word "Malta" is inserted next after the word "Kenya" in the list of Governments in the Schedule.
