APPOINTMENTS, &c.

No. 25.-It is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor, under instructions received from the Secretary of State for the Colonies has been pleased to make the following appointment:-

RHYS CARADOC JONES, M.B., Ch.B. (Liverpool), M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.R.C.P. (Lond.), D.T.M. & H. (Eng.), D.P.H. (Eng.), to be a Health Officer, with effect from 26th December, 1935.

8th January, 1936.

No. 26. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint RHYS CARADOC JONES, M.B., Ch.B. (Liverpool), M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.R.C.P. (Lond.), D.T.M. & H. (Eng.), D.P.H. (Eng.), to act as Second Port Health Officer and Inspector of Emigrants, with effect from 26th December, 1935.

8th January, 1936.

No. 27. It is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor, under instructions received from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, has been pleased to make the following appointment:-

Miss BETTY EUGÊNIE ABRAHAM to be an Assistant Mistress (Physical Training),

with effect from 26th December, 1935.

7th January, 1936.

No. 28.-His Majesty the KING has been pleased to approve the appointment of the Honourable Mr. Lo MAN-KAM to be an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council, in succession to Mr. ROBERT HORMUS KOTEWALL, C.M.G., LL.D., with effect from 4th October, 1935.

7th January, 1936.

No. 29.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, under section 9 (4) of the Liquors Consolidation Ordinance, 1931, Ordinance No. 36 of 1931, Mr. HUGH BLACKWELL LAYARD DOWBIGGIN, O.B.E., J.P., to be a member of the Licensing Board for a further period of three years, with effect from 10th December, 1935.

7th January, 1936.

No. 30-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint WILLIAM BROWNLOW ASHE MOORE, O.B.E., L.R.C.P.I., L.R.C.S.I., L.M. (Rot. Dub.), D.T.M & H. (Lond.), to act as Director of Medical and Sanitary Services, with effect from the 11th January, 1936.
