ORDINANCE No. 8 of 1935. (ADULTERATED FOOD AND DRUGS).

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Adulterated Food and Drugs Ordinance, 1935, and by section 9 of the Interpretation Ordinance, 1911, the Governor in Council amends the regulations published by Government Notification No. 940 in the Gazette of the 6th December, 1935, as follows:-

Amendments.

1. In the heading substitute "the first day of July 1936" for "the first day of January, 1936”.

2. In paragraph (xix) of regulation 1 substitute "25.5%" for "27.5%" at the end of the fourth line.

APPOINTMENTS, &c.

No. 3. It is hereby notified that Mr WILLIAM ELLIOTT, M.R., San. I., resumed duties as Assistant Inspector of Labour, Factories and Workshops on 26th December, 1935.

30th December, 1935.

No. 4. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. ROBERT ANDREW DERMOD FORREST to be Principal Assistant Colonial Secretary and Clerk of Councils, with effect from this date.

1st January, 1936.

No. 5.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. HENRY ROBERT BUTTERS to be Deputy Clerk of Councils, with effect from this date.

1st January, 1936.

No. 6.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, under section 9 (3) of the Liquors Ordinance, 1931, Ordinance No. 36 of 1931, the Honourable Sir WILFRID THOMAS SOUTHORN, K.B.E., C.M.G., Colonial Secretary, to be Chairman of the Licensing Board for a period of three years, with effect from 31st December, 1935.
