No. 1.-His Excellency the Governor has been informed by telegram from the Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies that His Majesty the KING has been graciously pleased to approve the following appointments :

O.B.E. (Civil)

Dr. WILLIAM BROWNLOW ASIE MOORE, Deputy Director of Medical and Sanitary Services, Hong Kong, to be an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Civil Division.

M.B.E. (Civil)

Dr. ROBERT MCLEAN GIBSON to be a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the

British Empire, Civil Division.
