The rainfall for the month of February at the Botanical Gardens was lin. 50 on 8 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 1in. 40 on 7 days, at Fanling, Qin. 78 on 5 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, lin. 14 on 12 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 881 at 15h. 22m on the 26th. The maximum gust velocity of the wind, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 48 miles per hour at 10h. 47m. on the 8th.
