Regulations made by the Governor in Council under section 3 (1) of the Printers and Publishers Ordinance, 1927, Ordinance No. 25 of 1927, dated 19th October, 1934.

Regulation made by the Governor in Council under section 4 of the Sunday Cargo Working Ordinance, 1929, Ordinance No. 7 of 1929, dated 25th October, 1934.

Amendment to the First Schedule made by the Governor in Council under section 28 of the Births and Deaths Registration Ordinance, 1934, Ordin- ance No. 21 of 1934, dated 30th October, 1934.

REPORTS OF THE FINANCE COMMITTEE.

5. The Colonial Secretary laid on the table the Reports of the Finance Committee (Nos. 14 and 15), dated 18th October, 1934, and 1st November, 1934, respec- tively, and moved their adoption.

The Colonial Treasurer seconded.

MOTIONS.

6. The Attorney General moved :-

That the By-laws made by the Sanitary Board under section 16 of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, on the 9th October, 1934, be adopted.

The Colonial Secretary seconded.

7. Cremation Bill.-The Attorney General addressed the Council and moved the First reading of a Bill intituled "An Ordinance to make provision for the cremation of the dead."

The Colonial Secretary seconded.

Question-put and agreed to.

Bill read a first time.

8. Sand Bill.-The Attorney General addressed the Council and moved the First reading of a Bill intituled "An Ordinance to protect the sand supplies of the Colony and to regulate the sale of sand.”

The Colonial Secretary seconded.

Bill read a first time.

9. Foreign Judgments Reciprocal Enforcement) Bill.--The Attorney General addressed the Council and moved the First reading of a Bill intituled "An Ordinance to facilitate the reciprocal enforcement of judgments in the Colony of Hong Kong in other parts of His Majesty's dominions, and in certain foreign countries."

The Colonial Secretary seconded.
