No. 701.-With reference to Government Notification No. 88 of 9th February 1934, His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint the Reverend CYRIL JAMES BROWN to be a Member of the Committee to administer the Mercantile Marine Assistance Fund of Hong Kong, vice the Reverend GEORGE TURNER WALDEGRAVE, M.B.E, resigned, with effect from the 11th September, 1934.

No. 702.-It is hereby notified that, under section 19 of the Juvenile Offenders Ordinance, 1932, Ordinance No. 1 of 1932, the Inspector General of Police has appointed the Salvation Army Home, 2 Embankment Road, Kowloon, as a place of detention for the purposes of the said Ordinance.
