(c) The structure shall not exceed one storey in height.

(d) No part of the floor of such structure shall be more than 4 feet 6 inches above the level of the ground.

(e) The side of every such structure for a height of 8 feet above the floor shall be left open and unenclosed except by a light open fence constructed to the satisfaction of the Licen- sing Authority or any other officer deputed by him.

(f) Gangways shall be formed and maintained to the satis- faction of the Licensing Authority of any other officer deputed by him. Such gangways shall not be less than 4 feet in width and not more than 20 feet apart.

(g) Exits shall be provided and maintained to the satis- faction of the Licensing Authority or any other officer deputed by him.

(h) All gangways, exits and passages shall be kept at all times free from any obstruction of any nature whatever.

(i) The number of persons to be admitted shall be limited to those for whom seating accommodation is provided and in no case may such number exceed 2,000.

6) Any artificial lighting arrangements shall be to the special satisfaction in each case of the Licensing Authority or any other officer deputed by him.

(k) Axes and choppers shall be placed in convenient posi- tions within the structure to the satisfaction of the Licensing Authority or any other officer deputed by him.

(1) Fire buckets not less than 48 in number shall be pro- vided to the satisfaction of the Licensing Authority or any other officer deputed by him, and shall be kept filled with water within the structure.

(m) Fire extinguishing apparatus of such type as the Chief Officer of the Fire Brigade may deem necessary, shall be pro- vided and in any particular case he may direct that the matshed shall be further protected by the provision of uniform- ed Government firemen. The expenses of the provision of men and apparatus shall be borne by the Licensee.

(n) Dressing rooms shall be situated not less than 20 feet distant from the main structure, and if communication is allowed, such communication shall be by means of open bridges only.

(0) No cooking shall be allowed in or near the structure.

(p) No smoking shall be allowed within the structure, and the licensee shall take all reasonable precautions to prevent it.

(2) In respect of any licence under this Part the Secretary for Chinese Affairs, the Inspector General of Police, and the Building Authority may add or substitute further or other conditions in any case in which it may appear desirable to do so, but the licensee shall have the right to appeal against the imposing of such further or other conditions to the Governor in Council whose decision shall be final.
